After a few weeks of playing around, I decided to give Mozilla Firefox 1.0 a try as my primary browser. As a matter of fact, these lines are written from Firefox :-)

Observations:

  • Tabs rule
  • Ctrl-Tab for switching between tabs is nice. But is there something circular, like Windoze's Alt-tab ?
  • The links toolbar folder is *very* convenient.
  • Ctrl-f (search within a page) is absolutely terrific ! Yay, Emacs style (dynamic) search, with highlighting !!
  • Googla toolbar and a popup blocker built-in, nice...
  • Sites in Hebrew show reasonably, though far from good. It's their fault though. I'm sure that it will be fixed once Firefox is more popular - atm their aim is only IE.
