Eli Bendersky's website This book is very similar to the other one by the same author that I've finished reading recently. It was written first and has many of the same themes and the same general tone and tempo, but is somewhat less readable because there is no real single story around which the plot twists.
In short, the protagonist is a 30-year old guy who has just finished studying and is hanging between one boring job and another, trying to spend lot of time partying and dating many girls. The sometimes funny stories of his (con)quests are sprinkled with bits of philosophy and criticism on modern society.
What I did like about this book is its realness. As the nice quote on the back flip succinctly summarizes:
Silly and wise, funny and sad, poignant and shallow, childish and mature. This is the author, this is the book, this is life.
