Typing Spanish characters on a standard keyboard
May 10th, 2007 at 7:53 pmSpanish has some characters that are not in the English alphabet. It is possible to type them on Windows using Alt + numeric keypad codes. For example, typing 0241 on the numeric keypad while holding the Alt key will produce ñ.
Here is a list of special Spanish characters:
- Á - 0193
- á - 0225
- É - 0201
- é - 0233
- Í - 0205
- í - 0237
- Ó - 0211
- ó - 0243
- Ú - 0218
- ú - 0250
- Ñ - 0209
- ñ - 0241
- ü - 0252
- ¡ - 0161 (inverted exclamation mark)
- ¿ - 0191 (inverted question mark)
