Hi, I had a question about how you formatted you .svg images so that they had transparent backgrounds. For example, if I take your yellowcreep.svg file and then save it as a .png and then try to load that, it shows up with a white background. This has been bothering me for a few days now, so if you could help me out that would be great. Thanks!

Just wanted to let you know that I'm making a Tower Defense with the above source as the foundation (thanks for specifying public domain). :)

We have this course in Upper secondary school where the sole purpose is to let us do a project of our own - we have until spring. This is what I chose!

Newest version of the game can (always) be found here: https://code.launchpad.net/~baxemyr/+junk/towerdefense (it will be published to my blog later, once I can claim to have a working demo)

I'll keep you updated as well, if you don't mind. :)

Very good tutorial, but after trying to go through it all, I still didn't learn enough to be able to code even a simple game on my own since you did all of the coding.. I'll have to try to learn it all..

I just got finished reading all four of your tutorials. I've learned a lot from your tutorials and I want to express my gratitude!

I say don't stop here! You could write tutorials on other interested topics such as object selection, tile maps, saving and loading, menu screens. No need to go into full games of each, but just basics of how it is accomplished in a real world way.
