It is invisible to attacks from the internet, unless my applications explicitly go outiside. But that is protected with SyGate firewall. I had no problems with this setup for years. I don't have or need multiple physical CPUs for now and MUIs *shudder* scare me (the Hebrew one especially) arle,

It might even be dangerous to leave a pre-patched xp system on the network for even the time it takes to upgrade it.
