The main protagonist in the novel by contrast is a morally conscious law abiding citizen who is washed off the ship in which he is travelling and ends up on the Seawolf's ship. The novel centers around the standoff between these two opposing moralities. It is nice in parts, but the ending left me feeling that something was wanting.
