Thank you so much for your review. I haven't actually read this book, but have wanted to for some time now. I was recently in Paris and heard that Victor Hugo actually wrote this book becasue Notre Dame was beginning to be run down and vandalized, so he wanted to write the book to show the beauty of Paris and Notre Dame as a main part of Paris. have you heard that before? Either way, the book sounds amazing.
