Our quest for the “big vacation” has officially begun today, as I applied for a permission to travel abroad and an unpaid vacation, beginning with December 15th 2006, and ending March 15th, 2007.

Being property of the IDF, this process is not as simple as in a normal workplace, but I’m optimistic. My strategy is to apply for 3 months, because 2 will do as well. If I eventually get 2 months authorized, it will be great. 3 will be even greater

Next step is sign my bosses on it. Good luck to me.
