use[less] keys on the keyboard

Did you know that:

  1. Windows key + L locks the screen.
  2. Scroll Lock actually does something. It’s useful on pure-text terminals to stop the scrolling of text. It’s what you’d use if you forgot to pass your ‘cat foo’ through a ‘| less’. Also it has some obscure use in Excel (scrolling the screen with the arrows, without moving the cursor).

What you learn through polls on Perlmonks :-)
