Somehow in my (so far) short career as a programmer I found myself writing code for many different GUI systems. Win32 API, MFC, VB, Tk, Motif, wxWindows, CGI... and soon I'll get into Qt as well.

Of all these, Motif is by far the most painful. The Motif/Xt/Xlib trio is an extremely terse toolkit, completely un-intuitive and its documentation is sparse and at times hard to grok.

And motif is what I'm now assigned to code in at work # 2. Darn.
