firefox
October 24th, 2004 at 8:55 pmAfter a few weeks of playing around, I decided to give Mozilla Firefox 1.0 a try as my primary browser. As a matter of fact, these lines are written from Firefox
Observations:
- Tabs rule
- Ctrl-Tab for switching between tabs is nice. But is there something circular, like Windoze’s Alt-tab ?
- The links toolbar folder is *very* convenient.
- Ctrl-f (search within a page) is absolutely terrific ! Yay, Emacs style (dynamic) search, with highlighting !!
- Googla toolbar and a popup blocker built-in, nice…
- Sites in Hebrew show reasonably, though far from good. It’s their fault though. I’m sure that it will be fixed once Firefox is more popular - atm their aim is only IE.
