Last week I ordered a few books from amazon.com, via “standard shipping” as always (the slowest & cheapest). The books arrived yesterday. A week from the Amazon warehouse to Israel, and that’s the slowest shipping, wow !

From the postal box I see that it was packed and sent from Germany. Amazon probably keeps stocks there for East Europe / Middle East shipments.
