It’s March 1st - the spring is here ! It became quite warm about a week ago, but now it’s calendaric-official

I don’t know why I’m so happy that the winter ended this year. Usually I don’t mind, while Anna is delighted as she really hates cold. But now I feel I’m really fed up with all the rains, and I’m glad for some warm days. Maybe that’s because this is the first winter I have a dog. Walking a dog when it’s raining is highly unpleasant. Also, it’s the first winter I wash my own clothes (before I was married I just gave the clothes to mom once a week :-), and waiting for clothes to dry when it’s raining is also not too nice.

Hmm, anyway, on Saturday we go hiking, which is another nice thing about good weather.
