We went on a long-weekend vacation to Eilat and just came back last night.

It was an organized trip from work, so everything was set up on the highest level - flights there and back (which is far better than the 6 hour driving), 5 star hotel + food, and nice entertainment. Shortly, lots of fun.

I usually “get into the mood” too late on vacations. For instance, just yesterday I realized that I would’ve happily stay for another week in that place. What’s so bad about sleep-eat-sea-eat-sleep-eat-go out cycle ?

In any case, Eilat is sunny as always, so we came back to Haifa to a whole different weather. The winter finally reached here, so it’s raining a lot, and is much colder (though not cold enough to get me off the shorts/sandals fashion). This morning we picked Shoko from the “dog motel”. She was (as always) excited to see us, threw up in the car and filled our clothes with mud. Uh oh.

The bad weather ruined my mood a little, but I will get into the daily routine eventually.
